HAPPY 100th DAY OF SCHOOL!
On behalf the Westfield School Community we would like to recognize the following employees.
…our food service staff never miss an opportunity to welcome a student to the cafeteria. Our food service staff has a “way” to make you feel like the most important person in the room. Our students and staff are so fortunate to have our food service team as part of our school community. Thank you for always going above and beyond for our students.
…wow! We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Laura Wilson as a part of our school community. Mrs. Wilson dedicates numerous…countless…extraordinary amounts of time offering to chaperone, head committees, advise, mentor and much much more! Mrs. Wilson is passionate about her work as an ELA teacher. Thank you, Mrs. Wilson for always going above and beyond for the students at WACS.
…always on the move! If Mr. Tenamore is not in his office, you will most likely find him helping one of our students with their technology needs. OR you may find him teaching one of our students about the inner workings of a computer. OR you may find him helping a staff member resolve a computer issue. Needless to say, we are so thankful for Mr. Tenamore for always going above and beyond for our students!
The annual WAVE Fair will be held on May 31, 2024, from 1:30-2:30 in the LGI. This is event is for incoming freshmen students who are just learning the ropes of our community service program. Any interested organization who wants student volunteers and wants to participate should contact Laura Wilson via email at lwilson@westfieldcsd.org.

Today our students in grades K, 1 , and 2 were treated to some tasty custard or dole whip from Ms. Ericca at Wanderlust. Our students thoroughly enjoyed these cold treats and the fun color changing spoons.
Back in December our students in these grades made ornaments for the Wanderlust Christmas tree in Mrs. Holt's library class. Today's treats were a kind gesture to thank students for those ornaments.
Thank you, Wanderlust and Mrs. Holt!
Our third graders shared their Haiku poems while wearing traditional Japanese Kimonos in Mrs. Zastrow's library class last week.
The haiku is a Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. Great job, third graders!
