Today our high schoolers kicked off Homecoming Week 2021 with Disney Character Day! Tomorrow is Wild West Day!
The Senior Band will be holding its annual Chiavetta's Chicken BBQ this Friday, October 15th, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. Meals include a deliciously barbecued half chicken, potato salad, and coleslaw - Cost is $12 with funds supporting the Band Program.
Tickets are available from any Senior Band member - purchasing pre-sale will guarantee you a meal as day-of sales will be limited. Pick up will be in the Cafeteria (remember that masks are required for entry).
A reminder that there is no school on Monday, October 11 in observance of Columbus Day.
Our Fire Prevention Week prize winners!
Thank you, Mrs. Shannon Bills, for organizing a week full of fire safety activities for our students.
The Westfield Volunteer Fire Department brought a fleet of rescue vehicles for a parade to the school today, making for a very exciting morning in our elementary school. We had time afterwards for our students to check out the ambulance, ladder truck and other rescue vehicles as part of Fire Prevention Week. THANK YOU, Westfield Volunteer Fire Department for an awesome event for our students. We appreciate the important role that you play in our community and hope that you had as much fun as we did today!
Our students took advantage of the nice weather today and practiced some math facts and skip counting outside!

It was no "TOP SECRET" that we had our first Elementary STAR Program of the year. We celebrated reading with our friends and the Star Committee on zoom. Thank you Howard Hanna Holt Real Estate for sposoring this month's books, the WTA for sponsoring the bonus books and the STAR Committee for planning this year's events. We can't wait to see what first grade and Mrs. Travis's room share in November!

It is highly recommended that all Juniors and Sophomores interested in attending college take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 8 am to 12 pm in the Large Group Instruction Room.
The cost of the test is $18.
